Welcome to ProWed ("we", "our", or "us"). ProWed provides a business operating system, gig calendar, client CRM, invoicing, portfolio hosting, and talent discovery platform for freelance wedding photographers, cinematographers, drone pilots, and studios.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, process, and protect your information when you use the ProWed mobile application (available on Android via Google Play Store and iOS via Apple App Store) and our website at prowed.in.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Profile: Name, email address, phone number, profile photo, business name, bio, and role (e.g., Traditional Photographer, Candid Cinematographer, Drone Operator).
• Business & Client Data: Gig dates, shoot locations, client contact names, phone numbers, quotations, invoices, and expense records created by you to manage your freelance operations.
• Portfolios & User-Generated Content: Photos, highlight reels, YouTube/Vimeo embed links, gear details, and social links that you choose to publish on your public ProWed creator portfolio (e.g., prowed.in/@yourname).
• Support & Communications: Feedback, support tickets, or queries submitted to our support team.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Device & Usage Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, app version, language preference, crash logs, and aggregate interaction metrics to monitor app stability.
• Advertising Identifier (AD_ID / IDFA): Collected securely by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to serve contextual and relevant advertising within free app tiers.

2. Device Permissions & Least Privilege Policy

ProWed requests device permissions strictly to deliver core app functionality that you initiate. We adhere to the Principle of Least Privilege:

3. How We Use Your Information

• Providing the Core Service: Maintaining your calendar, client records, quotes, invoices, and calculating business revenue metrics.
• Public Creator Portfolio: Displaying your verified public showcase, gear list, and contact links for client booking inquiries.
• Authentication & Security: Authenticating your identity via Google Sign-In / Firebase Auth and preventing fraudulent access.
• Payment & Billing Processing: Managing Pro subscriptions and generating client invoices securely via certified payment gateways (Razorpay).
• App Performance & Analytics: Tracking bugs, crash logs, and diagnosing system bottlenecks to ensure high uptime and responsive performance.
• Ad Delivery: Displaying non-intrusive banner or interstitial advertisements via Google AdMob in accordance with Google Play Ad policies.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with vetted industry-standard service providers who process data strictly under confidentiality and data protection agreements:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud: Provides secure authentication, cloud Firestore database, and crash analytics. Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Provides ad serving and monetization SDKs. AdMob adheres to Google Play Family and Ads Policy.
• Razorpay: PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway used for processing Pro subscription fees and digital payment links. Razorpay Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare / Google Drive APIs: For secure image asset delivery, portfolio thumbnail caching, and optional user backup storage.

5. User Generated Content (UGC) & Public Safety

ProWed allows users to upload wedding photos, videos, and creator profiles. All User-Generated Content is subject to our Content Guidelines:

• Zero Tolerance for Prohibited Content: We strictly prohibit the upload of sexually explicit media, violence, hate speech, harassment, or copyright-infringing content.
• Reporting & Flagging: Any user can report offensive content or copyright infringement by emailing support@prowed.in with the subject "Content Report".
• 24-Hour Enforcement: Reported content is investigated and removed within 24 hours. Accounts repeatedly violating policies are permanently banned.

6. Data Retention, Security & Account Deletion

Data Security

All communications between the ProWed mobile app and our servers are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Data at rest is encrypted using Google Cloud AES-256 standards.

Data Retention

We retain your business and profile data only for as long as your account remains active or as required by financial/tax regulations for completed transactions.

Account & Data Deletion

You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated personal and business data at any time:

• In-App Deletion: Open ProWed App → Profile / Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirming this action permanently purges your profile, client data, gigs, invoices, and portfolio records from our active database.
• Web Deletion Request: If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request by emailing support@prowed.in with your registered email/phone number. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

7. Children's Privacy

ProWed is intended strictly for freelance professionals and businesses aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we discover that a minor has registered, we will promptly delete their account and data.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our legal obligations or app features. When material changes are made, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
