Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the ProWed mobile application or website (https://prowed.in) operated by ProWed ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using ProWed, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity in your jurisdiction to create an account and enter into binding business contracts.
- Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
- Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (e.g. Google Sign-In, Phone OTP) and for any activity taking place under your account.
2. Scope of Services
ProWed provides business productivity tools, shoot calendar synchronization, client quoting and invoicing, expense logging, personalized creator website generation (prowed.in/@username), and talent discovery listings for wedding media professionals.
ProWed is a technology platform. We do not act as an employer, agent, or guarantor for freelance contracts or wedding gigs negotiated between photographers, cinematographers, studios, or end clients.
3. Pro Subscriptions & Billing
- Subscription Plans: ProWed offers Free and Pro premium tiers (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime options) unlocking unlimited client entries, advanced portfolio themes, custom domain forwarding, and automated watermark removal.
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed via authorized PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Razorpay). By subscribing, you authorize our payment processor to charge the designated payment method.
- Cancellations: You can cancel recurring subscriptions at any time via in-app billing settings or by contacting support. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your prepaid billing period.
- Refund Policy: Due to the digital and instantly provisioned nature of Pro features, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of verified billing errors.
4. User Generated Content (UGC) Policy
ProWed enables users to upload portfolio photos, highlight videos, biography text, gear lists, and client documents. To maintain a safe and professional environment, you agree to adhere strictly to the following content standards:
Prohibited Content & Behavior:
- No Obscene or Explicit Media: Strictly no pornography, sexual solicitation, extreme violence, or defamatory imagery.
- No Copyright Infringement: You must own the copyright or have explicit permission/model release from clients and colleagues for all wedding photographs, audio tracks, and video clips uploaded.
- No Harassment or Hate Speech: Content that bullies, harasses, or promotes discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or disability is strictly forbidden.
- No Fraud or Impersonation: Falsifying identity, claiming another studio's work as your own, or deceptive business practices are grounds for immediate termination.
Moderation, Flagging & 24-Hour Takedown
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against abusive or infringing UGC:
- Any user or visitor can report inappropriate content or copyright violations by contacting support@prowed.in with the subject "DMCA / Content Report".
- Our moderation team reviews reported content and takes appropriate action (including immediate content removal and user suspension) within 24 hours.
- We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion that violates these Terms or harms the community reputation.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Your Content: You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of your uploaded photos, videos, client data, and quotes. By publishing content to your public portfolio, you grant ProWed a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, and display such content solely for operating your public portfolio page.
- ProWed Platform: The ProWed app design, logo, branding, layout, software code, and documentation are the exclusive property of ProWed and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
6. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the ProWed application.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract user profiles or freelancer contact details.
- Interfere with server integrity, overload bandwidth, or conduct security scanning without express written consent.
- Use the client invoice or quote generator to distribute spam, phishing links, or fraudulent payment demands.
7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
ProWed is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- ProWed will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from lost client files, device hardware malfunctions, or freelance gig cancellations.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the services or that data sync will be instantaneous under poor network conditions.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the mobile app.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising out of or related to ProWed shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
